We are building a large steel sailboat in our front yard using an oragami method to construct the hull. Plans for the hull and a 1/12th scale model were obtained from Jack Carson. This is our attempt to translate the paper plans into a CNC cut 1/8th scale model. …it’s close, but the plans need some refining.
some things look easy on paper, thanks for doing this model and sharing it with us, look forward to seeing more of the boat
